Thomas is a qualified ACA Chartered Accountant, having been accepted as a full member of the ICAEW in September 2021.
In 2015, Thomas secured a place on one of the UK’s most competitive fast-track university programmes for Accounting, the PwC Flying Start Programme, and was awarded the University’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Accounting Programmes award’ upon graduation in 2019.
Thomas started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in December 2016, where he joined as an associate in audit at the practices' Cardiff office. After completing three consecutive university placements, Thomas transferred to the Donington Court Office in Derby upon graduation as a Senior Associate in audit at the age of 23.
Over Thomas' five years in audit, he has had the opportunity to work on various engagements spanning numerous sectors, including pharma, social care, finance, marketing, packaging, engineering, and brewing. Thomas also has proven experience working on complex engagements in the energy generation, aftermarket components and telecoms space, including listed and privately owned entities/groups across multiple disciplines, including IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP.
In May 2022, Thomas moved into Industry and now works for one of the UK's top ten card providers as a Finance Risk Senior Associate.
